| Hi, all, it's been a long time i haven't released anything.
It's because I was preparing great stuff to add in ZPM.
I first fixed all nasty bugs with encryption, it took a week. Then we've discovered bugs when a player prediction is ON and some other is OFF.
He asked me to re-add disc on railtrail.
Encryption told me that adding stats to ZPM will make players enjoy it more. So i tried to code that. It's based on OSP/CPMA stats ... It took me a week plus another one to fix all nasty bugs i didn't thinked about.
My problem after all that was that those stats look exactly the same as osp ones ... I first asked arqon: he was ok, but as he's not the maker of it, he told me to get rhéa approval to be sure. I mailed him: What a surprise when i received the answer : "I’m amazed you worked through all of my funky coloring schemes and actually found any consistency. Do the +wstats scroll out as well?!" I answered him yes :)
Then i tried to improve my CA respawn code and gameplay: manually ready ourself everytime was a real pain ... now when g_doWarmup is OFF, the match will start no matter a player is ready or not.

| Encryption is back ! If you don't remember this guy : it's the guy who's brought zpm to where it is now: referee, ready, timeout etc ...
We've tested 4.2 on his computer and found some nasty bugs with projectile weapon code.
I have repaired the code so everything should be ok... If you do happen to find bugs or problems with it just post them on the forum or e-mail me.

| A new version is out, a lot of things have been improved.
-Fixed whole VQ3 mode. -Fixed the "dead with one rocket" bug ... -the in-game add bot menu (no red or blue team in UI to choose for RA3 mode) -Fixed the "team queue adjustement". -Fixed the "no on left in the game, match ended" bug ... -bot_minplayers bug, until i find a solution, i've disabled bot_minplayers in multi arena and RA3 mode... -Fixed the "on the fly mode change" ... no map_restart used anymore ... only callvote restart... it will restart the arena... -Fixed falling damage, and hurtself : was not working... -Fixed ready message etc, now readycheck enabled in all gamemode except FFA... -Modified cVars default values: match_ra3 default was 1, always RA3 mode ... :-( -Fixed callvote commands that was not working or not supposed to be there ... -Fixed RA3 respawn code, wasn't random... -Fixed the /players command when a player use color characters in his name... -Fixed the timeout command...

| A new version is out.
Sorry for all those little bugs I didn't saw...
-The instagib mode was not working right. -The ra3mode callvote was not working too. -The ready message is useless in Free for all game mode.
I hope we'll have a ZPM RA3 server soon to check its stability.

| ZPM beta 4 is finally out!
Multi-arena support added and Rocket Arena gamemode support added.
I don't real know what to say, I've worked a lot on this. I'm somehow really tired :)
I hope you'll enjoy playing it as much as we do. Of course, I don't think that this release is bug free, we've fixed a lot with Topcat voodoo and grandmaster...
If you find any bug: 1 - try to reproduce it 2 - explain me how :)
When 2-5 bugs are fixed, I'll release a new version.
So, in order to play, you need RA3 maps. If you want to test bots, try to find RA3AAS files. The best way to find servers is to use gamespy 3D or arcade: tabs for ZPM mod are available on the download page.
More to come, see you on servers ;)

| Hi all.
I couldn't release on april, i thought I'll be ready but this is a big challenge to achieve.
Two weeks before release, everything was working fine : We had a server : thanks GrandMaster ;) and testers : thanks Voodoo, Topcat, Grandmaster, Warzp, Snoob ... etc :)
But then, grandmaster couldn't keep the server up because of a problem at his work, they changed ISP...
Now, time has passed a lot :-( Interest in it is perhaps less than before ... ( not for me ) But I still want to release ZPM-RA3 !!! :]
I'm stuck on a little ID bug( well, a little bug for Arqon, héhé ) with dropped EV_ events ...
Once this is done, I promise I'll release at least a stable version and will make point release day by day ... ;)
If some server administrators read this and want to help us testing ZPM-RA3, they can e-mail me ...

| Hello all.
If you read our forum sometime ago, what i doubt, you've heard rumours that a RA3 support for ZPM was in the way. Some of you may have thought it was a joke or some unreachable dreams i was doing, but no. After beta 3 release with projectile support, ZPM code was almost finished, I couldn't ehance it more, except for the connection interrupted lightning and plasma ... This bug was quick to fix ... I was in need of a bigger challenge ... and i had it: I was dreaming about multi-arena...
I'm please to announce you all that the RA3 support for ZPM is now almost ready. After months of coding, I've finally done a MULTI-ARENA support.

I didn't knew where to start: First, I started coding the ra3 gamemode alone, starting from a clean source. While I was doing this, I realized that the multi-arena support was possible for me to code. So i decided to rework the whole structure of it so now the mod is multi-arena compatible.
Stuff like ra3 gamemode or choose arena command was really easy to do, but some are really hard ( create team, scores etc... ) I wasn't thinking that it'll be finished one day ...
Numbers of times i wanted to give up: -one day because of a big bug ... -the other one i'm motivated because i fixed it ...
Then I met WarzP on ICQ, an australian player who's doing clanwar with ZPM... He's really interested in all that multi-arena stuff and try to help me finding bugz and is writing documentation, faq, install notes for the mod. Like with Encryption in beta 3 dayz, without this guy help the multi-arena support will not exist, i was nearly desesperated with all those bugz and was really thinking to give up.
I tried to get in contact with OSP and CPMA guys, Arqon (the CPMA coder) is a smart guy, and we discussed a little on some Q3 bugs and tweaking ... I'm really glad to know him : peace out if you read this dude ;)
Anyway, now, everything seems to works good and we're in the internal beta test phase this week.
Friday 26 April 2002 we'll release ZPM beta 4 with RA3 support, perhaps via an irc release party on irc.enterthegame.com #zpm
Some cool features are in, like: -per arena settings. -ra3maps config reading. -create team feature. -choose arena menu. -purpose arena settings menu. -bot support in multi-arena.
All you'll need to do is download : -the ra3 mod (for multi arena maps, you only need ra3 maps). -ra3aas map files (aas bot files if you want bot support). -ZPM beta 4.
Once done: 1-copy ra3 maps and aas files in "quake3/baseq3/" directory ... 2-load ZPM mod with the .bat file or do a shortcut like : "quake3.exe +set fs_game zpmra3 +set sv_pure 1" 3-type map ra3map1 or ra3map2 in the console or create a game as usual... 4-use the choose arena menu to choose the arena. 5-Purpose new settings for the arena with the purpose settings menu. 6-use the addbot menu to add a bot in the arena (set the good arena number for the bot). 7-type /ready in the console to start the match.
